TripWith ("app," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, share,
and protect personal data when you use TripWith.
2. Data We Collect
- Account Data: Name, email address, profile details; basic profile data and
identifiers received when signing in with Google or Apple.
- Trip and Group Data: Trip plans (dates, activity/task notes), group names and
members, expenses, shares, comments, attachments.
- Bank Information (optional): Bank name and IBAN solely to facilitate manual
settlements within groups. TripWith is not a payment processor; it does not move or hold funds.
- Location (optional): Approximate or precise location for features like place
suggestions or tagging expense locations. Declining access does not affect core functionality.
- Contacts (optional): Names and contact details to simplify invitations. If
declined, you can add participants manually.
- Device and Usage Data: Device type, OS, language, app version, crash/error
reports, performance metrics, usage statistics.
- Advertising Identifiers: Device ad ID (IDFA/GAID) and ad-related signals
(Google AdMob).
- Cookies and Similar Tech: Analytics and advertising SDKs (e.g., Google
Analytics, Google AdMob).
3. How We Use Data
- Account creation and authentication (including Google/Apple Sign‑In)
- Trip planning, group collaboration, and expense splitting
- Security, fraud prevention, and abuse mitigation
- Analytics, performance, and product improvement (Google Analytics)
- Ad delivery and measurement; personalization according to your choices (Google AdMob)
- User support and mandatory service communications
- Compliance with legal obligations
4. Legal Bases
Processing relies on contract necessity, legitimate interests, consent, and legal obligations (as
applicable by jurisdiction).
5. Sharing
- Service providers: Hosting, analytics (Google Analytics), ads (Google AdMob),
notifications, and support with limited access.
- Legal requirements: To comply with requests by authorities or protect our
rights.
- Business transfers: In mergers, acquisitions, or asset sales with appropriate
safeguards.
We do not sell your personal data.
6. International Transfers
Data may be transferred to countries where our providers operate. Appropriate safeguards (e.g.,
contractual protections) are applied.
7. Retention and Deletion
We retain data as long as needed for the purposes above. When you delete your account, we delete or
anonymize personal data within a reasonable period, subject to legal obligations and backup
retention.
8. Security
We implement technical and organizational measures (encryption, access controls, logging). No method
is 100% secure.
9. Your Choices and Rights
- Access, correction, deletion, restriction/objection, and portability rights (as applicable).
- Submit requests in‑app or via info@fastsplice.com.
- Manage location and contacts permissions in device settings; declining does not block core
features.
- Limited controls for Google Analytics; some opt‑outs are available via device/account settings.
- Manage AdMob ad personalization in platform/device settings and reset your ad ID (including
Apple's App Tracking Transparency).
10. Children's Privacy
TripWith is not directed to children under 13 (or higher age as required by local law) and does not
knowingly collect their data.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes may be notified in‑app or by email. The updated version
is effective upon publication.
